Doesn't Matter aj is getting stopped again, this is Salido vs Lopez 2 when Salido stopped Lopez in Puerto Rico
AJ needs to make a statement in the rematch, if he had stuck to mcrackens instructions he would’ve eventually taken Ruiz apart I’m allowing AJ to fight cautiously in the first 6 rounds in the rematch and then he has to start throwing the odd bomb A boring points win will do very little for him and we’ll still be further away from those fights with wilder and fury
It doesn't seem like there is definite clause in the contract to have the fight in the UK, but what do we know. If there isn't, and Ruiz and team agree due to overconfidence, they are fools. Joshua will train for months sparring short armed under 6ft cruisers and have Joey Dawjekokowskiwoski living in his house, gorging himself on food in an egg-stained singlet and randomly jumping out throwing combos night and day. Joshua will have the most biased cards ever seen in boxing history and be loaded with nasal sprays of all kinds. On top of that, Joshua dropped Ruiz and landed other bombs on his tubby face, it wasn't like Ruiz shut him out, so he could still win without any engineering given he has incredible physical advantages fighting a fat light heavyweight. If possible, Ruiz needs to capitalise on the demons and self-doubt and make the fight in the same place. Listen to Groves talking about the difficulty of even going back to the arena near the ring he got KO'd in. Joshua's ego has made this easier by claiming to want the same location, Ruiz should push this narrative and try to hold him to it.
The **** are you talking about, man? I was out of my seat cheering for Ruiz - I loved watching him win... and am not questioning the legitimacy of it, am just a realist and have an idea of what I am looking at.
It will be in Mexico I reckon. And they'll throw tacos into the ring, and Ruiz will gobble them up mid air, giving him extra strength and motivation, when he beats that big stiff weightlifter senseless!
Why would it be in Mexico? Nether of them were born there, raised there or currently live there. Is there a lot more money to be made from the Mexicans if they stage it there?
