I can see him playing Rocky’s grown up grandson, Pablo Balboa, raised in Mexico by his Mexican mother. The film will be called Rocky 7 : the MEXt generation.
Yes unfortunately we’ve heard this before from Ruiz and other fat fighters. We’ll see at the weigh in.
Ruiz fought the same way he always fights, waiting for the counter opportunity, Joshua could land but he couldn't physically or mentally take what was coming back, Ruiz didn't catch him with one punch, he beat him up. Its far more believable to think Ruiz out the two h2h is better, I mean we have proof. Ruiz for me without a doubt if he trains hard can repeat it again, might take a little longer but he can definitely beat him again imo
I don’t care what anyone says, he was carrying too much extra weight. As long as he doesn’t lose too much, he should be if anything more effective and quicker.
Yeah this comment makes sense. They always use photoshop in modelling pictures, even if the model is perceived as perfect looking.
Yep. Can’t say I’m surprised. I’ve heard of him trying to lose weight way back when Top Rank said he was too fat.
Butterbean had to Gobble Butter Beans and nothing else to get his weight down to a Slim & Trim 300 pounds!
I knew it. Some people are just never going to change, and Andy Ruiz is one of them. He'll never be slim at any point in his career.
I think you got that bssaackwards. Butter Bean ate butter beans to increase his weight to the 400lb minimum for one early toughman tournament he participated in.
Bump- Interesting how we went from Ruiz the Skinny to Ruiz the stay-puft marshmallow man. Can't say I predicted the winner, but I felt confident AJ would not be covering up from combinations by the big n chubby chump 2nd fight. Ruiz landed 56 1st fight 60 in the rematch. Wasn't so much running that allowed AJ to stay upright. He didn't catch those odd shots that can mess anyone up. Side note- Was blessed to talk with Micky Ward -he mentioned that his 2nd fight where Gatti dropped him with an equilibrium shot...he was toast from then on & was fighting on pure will. He said certain rounds he thought he was walking to the wrong corner...those words came back to me, watching Joshua get dropped by Ruiz. Smart fight and great decoy on whoever had us thinking Ruiz was losing weight as opposed to gaining it. Massively!
