Ok, who cares this is another guy that needs to retire, or is this how pathetic heavy weight division really is, again they should start a senior
tour for these guys because this is starting to look like WWf what a joke........

The WBA is negotiating with Ruiz to step aside and instead fight on the undercard of Valuev-Haye.

I feel your pain. However, Ruiz should only retire if he's no longer competitive. From John's point of view, why not accept the paydays? As long as he can get fights against circus freaks and pudgy Russians, why not keep working and making money?
Now , if some half decent heavyweights appeared and Ruiz had to take the chance of getting hurt, then he'd be smart to bow out. But it seems theres no danger of any really good heavyweights appearing anytime soon.

He has actually been more active in his fights and more entertaining than in previous years. I hope they put him in agaisnt a decent opponent, though.

I'm hoping he doesn't step aside. I hope he enforces his right to fight Valuev.

Not cause I want to see that fight, I would avoid it like the plague. But the look on Haye's face - and the way it would **** off his ******ed fans - would be priceless.

More active?? This cheating clown has fought only 5 times in the last four years, and has lost 3 of those fights. He isn't a "decent" opponent himself - of course, considering he has extremely limited legitimate boxing ability, that's pretty much always been the case.

As far as how "entertaining" his fights have been, I suppose that's a relative judgment - but it is curious that as King stopped pushing him on the American public, he all of a sudden abandoned the illegal tactics.

Hmm, think somebody might have told him he wouldn't get that "look the other way" attitude for his excessive holding anymore?? :huhAnd isn't it interesting that since he began to hold less, he has lost every major fight he's been in??

The Huggy Bear is going to be upset if Haye wins because he wants one last shot of bearded glory against Valuev.

Then Haye - Valuev 2, then Haye - Holyfield, then Haye - Meehan, then Haye - Chagaev, then Haye - Meehan 2, then Haye - Chagaev 2, then Haye - Ruiz 2.

What we wont see is Haye - Klit.

But it isn't Haye's fault he has all these mandatories, and the Klits contracts, and his recurring strained vagina muscle... I wonder if his die hard fans are gonna start to question his integrity when he is signing the contract for Haye - Holyfield 3?
