True, but I don't expect to see them use their mandatories to duck anyone. I fully expect Haye to use every excuse he can think of the avoid the Klits. He will stonewall until Vitali is long retired, and will wait for 4-5 years or until it is clear Wlad is beatable before taking that fight.

 

I don't see them dropping their belts either. Mandatories all around... for everyone!
There's no real "in demand" fight to press this issue either.

It would be funny if the above was just a joke, but unfortunately this is precisely how Don King is planning to have all this play out.

Don King's options on Valuev might be expiring so he hopes to transfer the belt to fresher blood, namely Haye. Who is challenging the belt holder in a voluntary defense so as a challenger he signs away his next 3-4 title defenses to Don King. So Haye can circle jerk the Don King circus of the ex-has-beens: Holyfield/Ruiz/Meehan/Austin.

Haye will happily face these clowns in the UK and write his monthly press release how the Klitz are ducking him and how he's the "real" HW champ.

The one thing I am waiting on are the UK PPV and ticket sale figures of Haye's UK fights. We'll see if he is the self-proclaimed huge HW draw in the UK
