He catches AJ on his temple like he did the first fight.

Guys that was a lucky shot. The chances he lands on that spot are every slim. Not sure why people keep talking about chin or whatever. Ruiz hit AJ on the chin before the knock down and it had zero effect.

The luckyshot Ruiz hit AJ with was the same on a similar spot Tyson hit Berbick and we saw what that did to Berbicks legs

AJ had never been hit on the temple before thats why he was asking this trainer why he was feeling like this. The fact he got up and lasted a few extra rounds is mystery. Most HW's would never had got the legs anymore to last another round.

Expect AJ to snap and bust up Ruizs face when Ruiz opens himself looking for that left hook. If you thought Breazeales face looked bad wait till you see what Ruiz face will look like. I like Ruiz and his round happy face but its going to be a mess.

Yeah blows can affect the jaw in different ways, especially if you're giving the blow

..... unless Joshua trips over his shoe laces and the blob falls over him on his 282lb belly. I wouldn't be surprised to see Joshua do what Parker did tonight. Ruiz has gobbled up one too many Whooper burgers, and his exhaustion will show when he chases that puny scared bodybuilder across the ring!

I'm actually worried about this. I think the fight did hinge on the temple shot and it's a pretty small target. Maybe Ruiz can still do enough damage if he can't hit the off switch, guess we'll see.

It was the bodyshots that made Joshua quit

Took the fight out of him

Theres an absolute peach of a right hand in round 6 or 7 and thats the end for AJ

Ruiz feints and AJ raises his guard whilst circling, and he circles right into a full power straight right into his gut, not sure he threw a punch after that

Ruiz knows only one way to fight, moving forward. AJ has to adapt to that . And not panic if he gets tagged, stay focused and he'll win this.

I dont think Ruiz hits that hard, he'll only knock down Joshua with a sheer volume of punches.

Joshua could have carried on in 7th round but didnt want to take any more punishment. He looked way more hurt against Klitschko but Klitschko was too old to finish him off, Ruiz on the other hand is younger and relentless.

I don't think it's so much that he hits really hard, it's his handspeed that can be deceptive. You wouldn't think a guy that carries around that kind of weight would have fast hands like that. Ruiz has very fast hands for a heavyweight, particularly in regards to power punching.

Tbf joshuas been wobbled by whyte, klitchko ruiz and povetkin. Each time barring the povetkin one hes took too long to recover. I,d fancy my chances of hurting joshua if i was ruiz.

The temple shot did change the fight but the evidence is there that joshua,s powers of recovery aren,t great when you consider most fights joshua,s being the one dishing it out. The times guys have fought him back...hes pretty much been hurt.

Ruiz hurt him more than just the temple shot, also when he went to the body AJ had no answer.

I DKSAB? You dont know **** about physiology - being hit on the temple is the most dangeorus place you can hit anyone in boxing. This is where boxers die when they are hit in the meningeal artery and get a brain bleed. It without doubt is the most sensitive and dangerous place to hit anyone.

Those who have trained in the marines, SAS, Ops will know about this and are trained speficially to hit that zone. You dont even feel the pain as such like punch to the chin but you 100% disbale the person. There 100% no way on earth AJ recovered from that shot no way on earth! I laugh at the utter ignorance on this thread about the human physiology lmao
