get a grip. he was in good enough shape to go 12 with the guy who was #1 just months ago. he messed up by leaving some things to chance, because of his lack of discipline. hes got the heart to die like a champ, he just aint got the heart to live like one.
No, he turned up and went the 12 rounds, I've seen far more dubious displays and even worse post fight admissions. Ruiz took his smacking around and played his part in a fight that wasn't overly entertaining after midway. To even start thinking about fighters losing money because they didn't train correctly or didn't perform to a certain standard is unrealistic.
