i do not believe that he has great stamina, he is just incredibly low volume (same with Wilder). He will probably press the action in the early rounds if AJ tries to be elusive but in the later rounds he will present more openings for AJ to take advantage of especially due to his poor footwork.

It's quite likely that AJ will gassed in the later rounds anyway if he is attempting to be elusive, so will he really be in a position to take advantage of the openings? And what about the openings a gassed AJ provides?

He has better stamina than most HWs. He is a more active fighter than Wilder, who I think has a very economical style.

Ruiz looked like he had good stamina in Parker fight, which was a active fight, and went the full twelve rounds.

In other 10 Rd fights he looked not so hot tho. He's showed good stamina in some but then not so good in others

I don't know if his stamina is overrated or not, but for sure it is better than Joshuas.

What the **** are you talking about? You sound crazy. Have you ever actually seen Ruiz fight anybody aside Joshua?

Yeah I know this one is an obvious choice, but whatever, you can't just say he's low output when he is anything but late in a fight.

Ruiz has fantastic punch output, great stamina. He was very active against Parker only narrowly losing a decision (I agreed with the judges in that one that he lost by 1 point).

He also threw a lot of punches against AJ. He was cautious and waited for the openings to come agreed. This is what you should do when you fighting a very heavy puncher like AJ.

Pretty sure they threw more in the first round of this fight than in the first three rounds of the AJ fight.

Other 10 round fights aren’t relevant now. He’s in the best shape now.

He is fat. It depends on which type of fight he is about to fight. If he has to run in the ring the stamina should fade quick. If he can stand in the center plodding and throwing combos he should be OK.

Ruiz is very experienced and relaxed in the ring, thats why he doesn't gas so easily. Joshua is more tense in the ring so he tends to gas in midrounds.
