Ruiz vs McCline. Who do you want to win, and who do you pick?

I agree. I can see Ruiz somehow getting the "W". I too prefer to see McCline win it, though.

 

McCline should win. McCline won't be tenative in there with Ruiz and he's got better quickness and power and a pretty big size advantage. If McCline has any sense he won't allow the smaller Ruiz to hold and hug. But McCline's always got stamina issues so who knows?

 

I'm picking Ruiz based on his low weight and ability to make an opponent like McCline fight his fight. But I'm hoping that McCline KTFO's him in 15 seconds of the first round.

 

Ruiz will win a UD

 

Ruiz will probably hit the deck at least one time in this fight. I look for him to lose a comfortable decision. For god's sake in the last few years he has a very bad losing record. If you don't count his gift win against Steroid Toney he sucked REAL bad.

 

Ruiz by UD, Mccline will hurt him early, maybe even knock him down, but will run out of steam mid way through the fight, and Ruiz will come back to win the decision.

I've always admired Ruiz as a true hard working HW, despite his sometimes boring style.

Ruiz, however, has some good fights with the bad ones. Valuev, Chagaev, 2 of the Holyfield fights, and Golota weren't bad fights.

50-50 fight, i slightly favor Ruiz, because at 233 he will probaly have a higher workrate, and this fight has a good chance of going to the cards, and Mccline has always had trouble winning big fight's always coming up short, at the end.

 

I'm hoping for a McCline KO but I think his stamina will betray him again and RUIZ will grapple his way to a UD. For some reason I don't believe the bs about Ruiz being a changed man, he will be like cling film until Jameel starts to gas.
