Ruiz called out the Klit brothers for years. And while I think he is very underrated he is lucky neither took him up on his challenge. He couldnt beat either, especially Wlad.
And you wonder why when you SOMETIMES run into someone with actual legit boxing knowledge that they dismiss you like a clown....
whilst ruiz did beat holyman, evander was so shot by then it was a laughable win. Wlad in his absolute prime, would probably take the fight in Germany, and would outhustle prime Ruiz for a decision there with a ref paid not to stop him doing anything illegal whilst penalising ruiz for the same action. in neutral territory, its too tough to call, either a ko win for ruiz or a points decision for wladdo.
Dino says a draw. Funny! Like i said before, I'm for him posting as he under minds the other haters on the Klitschko's.
Wlad hits Ruiz so hard that The Quiet Man mistakenly hugs the referee....Wlad capitalizes on this and clips Ruiz with a left hook and ends it all.
I really respect Ruiz for being around so long, making the most of modest talents. However, he lived in a parallel universe known as the WBA, in which all titlists were kept away from the K brothers and instead passed the title around on split decisions, boring everyone in the process. Ruiz, Valuev, Chagaev....all of them, were at best #3 in the world, and we know who 1 and 2 were. It would have been a massacre.
Don King has mentioned a few times he talked to the K brothers but he always wanted options on the brothers so fights never happened. The only time the K brothers dealt with Don King as far as I know was for mandatory fights. E.g. Larry Donald or Ray Austin.
