How did he not deserve a title shot? He fought a very closely contested title fight against Parker, he is far more skifful that fat Drug cheat Miller ....so how can you say Ruiz didn't"Deserve" the fight ?? You've taken it worse than AJ has Lol....no wonder as AJ getting $85 million in the rematch...he's laughing all the way to the bank ,pus he "might" become a two time heavyweight world champ...
Backing that muscle bound clown straight up vs somebody with the all around skill Andy has is insane. It’s a bad style matchup. Adios brixy bomber!!
Guy is a hater that didn’t see that coming. He let his emotions get the best of him with that silly bet he made aswell. Oh well, another casual hater gone by the wayside after Ruiz out skills Joshua again.
Because he was something like the third choice of opponent! Ruiz would tell you himself that it was an unwarranted shot.
I still think he had more right to that fight than that waste of space Miller...!! he has no boxing skills whatsoever...thats why Hearn chose the bum as a Debut USA fight to make AJ look good & boy did that go wrong !
I am skeptical. You did not answer my questions, such as who is better being how fat, or how big is better for some guys. Likely you do not know. But to address just what Roach said, in the past, was Ruiz always coming in near 270? See, I am saying that I can believe that some men might do better relatively "fat". But at about 25% body fat. And some like Foreman who was in his 40's and well over 300 before he came back are prime candidates for this. But do you really believe (if my estimates are correct), that Ruiz needs to be over 1/3, around 35% BF, to not have his power & punch resistance suffer, & significantly? It is hard to me believe that this effect would be more than small. Unless he did things that weakened him like lose weight quickly &/or with poor diet & /or traning-which he may have. Or that the extra weight 10% BF-accounting for around 25lbs.-would be worth the inevitable decline in speed, at least of foot, & reduced endurance.
Foreman was 256 for Morrison bout. This content is protected I couldn't find the video on YouTube but I have it on dvd, for the Holyfield bout weigh-in Foreman takes 2 fingers and pulls his winter beanie cap off his head and hands it to someone before he steps on the scale while laughing!
I'm not knocking Ruiz being fat. It obviously works for him. But the trouble is that he or his team (not sure which) keep releasing teaser tweets about his incredible weight loss and it always turns out to be an utter sham. It's getting tiresome at this point. If he wants to be known as that morbidly obese guy that still kicks ass then roll with that. Don't jerk people around with empty promises.
