I doubt Wilder takes this as a return fight

I agree with this. He's been out of the ring and supposedly not even been training.

A confidence building and timing tune-up is in order.

    The link is dead? Hmmm...

This was not a click bait attempt.

Wilder definitely beats Ruiz. If that bout happens, Wilder will definitely do a job on him.

It is being reported on *****.net

In reading the article, it is somewhat speculative to be sure.

Wilder had an erection when Ruiz beat AJ

He really thought he might get an easy shot at all them belts & AJ would be finished,

The article mentions a return fight with Martin or Helanious first, with a possible fight with Ruiz in the fall of 2021.

Geez...other boxing news websites get filtered out? That was a new one to me. I did not realize this site does that.

It's a fascinating clash of styles: unstoppable force meets immovable object. I probably take the minority view in saying that I think Wilder has all the tools to win this. Joseph Parker showed everyone the blueprint of how you beat Ruiz; a lot of lateral movement combined with a solid, consistent jab, which AJ nervously copy-pasted in the rematch. Parker was also facing a relatively in-shape Ruiz of "only" 256 pounds, not the 284 pound blob stunt-double. Parker-Ruiz was fairly close but Ruiz struggled to close the distance on Parker for most of the fight and Wilder has a lot of height and reach on Parker, let alone Ruiz. Wilder can also box on the backfoot effectively against a slow-footed and limited but dangerous opponent as we saw in the first Bermane Stiverne fight (albeit at the cost of much of his power).

But the biggest question mark in my view is Wilder's mentality. I think Ruiz would be much more up for this fight than Wilder, so much so that I doubt it will happen. Ruiz has a fantastic chin, lightning fast hands, decent power, 40 pounds on Wilder (even if he's in "shape") and he would have his moments where he managed to close the distance on Wilder and open up on him. Ruiz would have a lot of confidence and hunger in this fight, he'd feel he could make a statement with a win and that Wilder was very beatable. I can easily see Wilder getting hurt and panicking in this fight, only to be clubbed down to the canvass repeatedly and have his career definitively ended by the squat Mexican tublord.

I don’t see this fight happening, but would love to be proven wrong.

Let's see it! Has to be exciting and the winner regains some much needed credibility. If it's a good fight, both guys' stock can go up. I won't pick a winner til' the weigh in.

I’d like this fight! No need for judges because it’s not going to the cards. I see it as a 50/50 fight assuming Wilder still has his marbles. Won’t happen! Wilder will want $80 million or something crazy. This is a TV fight not PPV.
