    This fight would be a resurrection for one of them and a complete finish for the other.
    And so, it won't happen.
    Ruiz will fight Arreolla or somebody like that. But will never be a real contender again.
    And Wilder may only fight the voices in his head from now on.

    This fight will sell well I think. Wilder was getting a lot of press before the Fury fight. Ruiz will bring out many Mexican and Mexican-American fans.

    The fight can be sold as the American HW Championship.

    But I agree Wilder's mental state is a risk as is Ruiz's suspect discipline.

    I hope it happens. HW boxing in the USA needs this shot in the arm.

    Malph, agree w/you on all points. I think it's a very interesting fight and should be made. But I'll believe it when I see it !

    Fair point. I guess I am an optimist and want to believe! Lol

    I do believe it's the biggest money fight either of them is likely to get in the foreseeable future.

    That's the fight I've been waiting for. This could be a nightmare fight for Wilder because of Ruiz' speed, pressure, and power. I could see either fighter get taken out and that's why it's fascinating. That article also mentions that Wilder is looking at Charles Martin or Robert Helenius for his comeback in the summer before a potential Ruiz fight, those are also decent match-ups.

    Could be a great fight. I'm not totally sure Wilder could keep Ruiz off him long enough to get the KO.

    EDIT: Article kind of just sounds like it's speculating, not really providing any evidence.
