    The issue earlier talked about was being "dirty".

    If you're an Octopus like huggy-bear, then the refs should punish him for excessive clinching, but that doesn't put opponents at a high risk for death or serious injury.

    However, cheating by getting an unfair advantage like steroid use, simply makes the sport more dangerous than it already is. If Ruiz or Vitali's amateur opponents or De La Fishnet died from the fists of a juiced up opponent a la Apollo Creed, then we'd be singing a different tune.

    That is more dirty than being an excessive clincher.
