Rules Change to Minimize Holding

    I think it would be interesting if there was another variation of boxing. Make sweeps, trips and slows legal techniques and give successful throws, sweeps, trips points and an injury caused by a throw, trip, sweep can be considered a TKO if the injury is severe enough to stop the fight. I think it might even eliminate some of the size advantages super heavyweights have.

    lol, some judo/grappling masters could become pro boxers and become world champs without having to punch at all

    The rules just need to defined clearer in relation to clinching and ENFORCED. Give a rough limit of initiating clinches per round, at 5 you get a warning and at 6 you lose a point. If you're actually infighting then fine, let them go but this half the round is eaten up by clinching has got to go. Emphasize what makes boxing exciting, action.
