Bernstein mentioned this during the moment on the broadcast, but I honestly didn't get that impression because it wasn't as if he took 2 steps back - he literally backed up right to center ring, which is the last spot he wants to be. I guess if he was mildly exhausted after his flurry and needed a breather that would make sense. And I could be crazy, but I thought it was more a matter of tentativeness than pacing himself. Thanks for watching! :thumbsup
I got the same impression. Based on Pacs track record in Post fight interviews and his normal behavior, it felt out of character. He also seemed like he didn't realize Mayweather was going to move and counter and, "...do nothing." and that is how he usually wins his fights. I almost expected to see Guerrero's dad in the background shouting "He ran like a chicken."...clearly he knew this was going to be the case.
Great video! I thought Pac may have sensed Floyd was setting a trap for him in that fourth round.Would have been awesome if they let Larry in the building.
I must say, I'm impressed. Not many people can start off with IDKSAB and still pull off an excellent ****ysis like that. (G) Tip of the hat to Rummy on this, and I'm going to have to keep an eye open for future installments.
Thanks for watching. And maybe Pac thought a trap was being set, and I can buy that because, again, I thought it was more of a tentative move on Pac's part than a calculated pacing decision.
:good Thanks for the kind words. Appreciate you watching, and hoping you equally enjoy any and all future installments. :thumbsup
Incidentally, does anyone remember if Roach was quite this subdued in between rounds during Marquez III?
"What this shows - is that I DKSAB... :conf" :rofl :rofl Excellent breakdown, Rummy. Nailed it. :good
Nice vid, I enjoyed it. You didn't have any problem eating crow lol. Wish more fans could be that way. On the video though, I agree with alot of it. No one expected Pac to look that much slower. I had guys in my ear with speed this and speed that leading up to this thing. Was quite a shock. Thanks for the vid.
