Yeah. I didn't think that far out when I did the heavyweight division, where I started that trend. I noticed, looking quickly, that the residual points didn't make a difference there. In retrospect, I wish I had included those, but I'm nearly halfway through the divisions now, having not done that.

In any case, I was always planning on a grand finale type of episode, where all of the points will be included.

And Tszyu was a solid boxer. Ranked at 140 for many straight years.

For what it's worth Robney, I've been giving this a lot of thought, and I agreed with you before you said this - but you saying this here reminded me again of how correct you are. I made a mistake when I started this on that aspect. Going forward, I will show both lists (with and without residual), and I will ultimately do a recap (after the grand finale) that addresses that as well.

Just tallied the numbers for 135 the new way, including the residual points. It made 1 difference on the final top 10 list. I think I'll just do it the way I should have been doing it going forward, and explain the difference.

Good call Rums, to include the non top 10 points here. Makes it easier for the final tally as well

    Nice vid again Rums.
There's a couple of issues with this situation though. It's already clear that Fury will go the TBA road for the time being and there won't be a fight between him and either Wilder or Joshua any time soon. And he needs to build up again, as we have no idea where he stands at the moment.
Don't forget that Fury didn't look too good at all up until 2014, and then the Chisora and Hammer fights came around with Fury looking much better as he did before. Still he was a 6 to 1 underdog against Wladimir at the time, and the fight became the upset of the year on almost every major publication. Now we know Fury tested positive after the Hammer fight (how the hell isn't that fight overturned?!) and he never fought since.

So Fury blew up in weight, coked himself up, had mental issues, got stripped of his belts and later (much too late imo) stripped of the Ring championship.
There are now so many questionmarks and issues to overcome when it comes to Fury, that it's actually highly unlikely that he would come back in his 2015 shape.
What did the abuse do to his body?
    What about his mental state?
Does he have the will to stay active and in shape until getting a big fight?
How much influence did the Nandrolone have on his performance(s)?
Did Wladimir just have a total off night?
His chin can't have become much better, so what if he gets landed on again?
Should we even consider him lineal under the circumstances? The TRBR for instance doesn't.
What if he screws up again, and gets his license revoked or another ban?
And there are probably still quite a number I didn't think of.

And if Joshi fights Wilder in the meantime, I think a lot depends on who comes out victorious.
If Joshua wins, then when Fury can look at least good enough, it would be a Wembley mega event. When Wilder wins on the other hand, the fight would really depend on how good Fury looks and if Wilder (as the reigning IBF/IBO/WBA/WBC/Ring champion) would come to the UK for it.

That brings me to the current purse discussion that's going on at the moment.
I think it's understandable, because that's the whole part that needs to be resolved for this fight to take place in the first place.
It's not that people like to discuss that more as the fight itself, it's that they know it's the point where it's at this moment in time.

I hate the phrase A-Side/B-Side (with or without the word Meth behind it) as any other fightfan, but there's a very clear difference here between pull and financial worth, without much more as the WBC belt and some pushing from fans and media to change much to the purse division.
Wilder and his team want much more, while Joshua and team aren't ready to overpay him it seems.

Tyson Fury's return... Before he goes for a title shot (Whom ever holds them at that stage)
Will he call out a Klitschko?? (Who have become vocal of late regarding him).

Rummy I love your unbiased and objective information laden posts. Your vids are king. I just think using the Ring magazine rankings as your base might be a little historically misleading and limiting as the Ring in the past and as it is very much today is maybe a bit Westo centric. It routinely forgets or somehow doesn't hear the S.E.Asian noise particularly Thai noise. Consider Seansak Muangsurin who won the the WBC light welterweight strap after only 3 fights, a recorded equalled only by elite Loma decades later, and Seansak after losing it recovered it only 4 months later and went on to defend it 7 times. The gravity of what he did isn't really reflected in the Ring rankings if you see what I mean. I realise you are yet to go lower in weight in your great video series, so just consider and if you have time cross reference the legendary fighting royalty of Siam the true Cinderella men of the sport who have been routinely punching above their weight literally for many many years now....

Here's a list of Thai world Champions sine the 60s til 2014. Sure I@m a Thai fan boy, but why not. SOme of these guys are fighting royalty who routinely get forgotten or left off many a list where maybe they should shine. Just look at the way SRR is routinely absent these days in ant P4P list as an example, so what chance do these legends from history have. Sure I'm a Thai fanboy but if no one shouts for them these legends will disappear silent and forgotten forever. Keep up the great work up!
