Rums... I was looking through my PMs reading through some ones from Mankind due to the sad news... and I came across one from you where you sent me your first video lol.

I compared the dates and it was the day you started your channel.

I guess I really was your first subscriber lol.

You really were, I am certain of it.

In fact if I'm being totally honest, I'm not even sure I knew exactly what it meant when you told me you had subscribed to my channel.

    Cheers kirk!

Good lord Rummy, did you get any sleep last night? This video was assembled damn quick.

I agree with you about Usyk needing to defeat Fury for the lineal claim but what is the definition of "the passage of time"? If you retire from a company and get a gold watch (or more likely a severance package) then you're retired. Period. If Fury says I'm retired then boom he's done or is he a liar?

The Ali example isn't valid here IMO because he didn't announce a retirement, he was in legal limbo.

Like you and all other boxing fans I want a Fury-Usyk fight to happen. If Love Handles Fury says he's retired then we have to take him at his word. It's not fair or reasonable to let a retired ex champ keep his mythical lineal crown in a drawer somewhere and take it out whenever he so desires.

As for the first fight, my kid said that “Floyd had to work for that one.”

Floyd would have beaten Pacquiao in 2009-2011. Morales and Marquez already laid out the blueprint to beat Pacquiao, and Floyd was MORE than capable of copying that blueprint.
