    Good post Hans :good

Not sure if Ward's ego will EVER allow him to contemplate being B side.... and even if it did, he's a 175lber now

He's trapped between a rock and a hard place

Ward beats Kovalev anyways if he goes to 75.

Kovalev should be worried. Dre's going for him soon.

You don't honestly believe that do you?

Bad match up for ward. Very bad.

Ward should take on strvenson on beterbiev instead.

Dre is one of the best boxers on the planet. Of course I believe it.

Kovalev will never be able to handle Ward's inside game and boxing ability.

He could go up to 200 imo and beat the talents there. :deal

    No he doesnt

And taking on Artur would end up no better for Dre

There's a reason he's hired a notorious steroid cheat to try and keep his naturally 175 weight down from 175

Too much skil for GGG... Just too much inside work , outsidework behind the stick, movement, box-ability, consistent power & defense. GGG wins 3 rounds....

Very good video and a nice logical breakdown of the options for GGG.
I fully agree that he should keep busy facing the next level fringe contenders until the right circumstances evolve for a megafight with a marquee opponent.

It's a good video as always Rumsfeld, but I don't think GGG would get a lot of credit for trying if he moved up and got beat, people would say he was exposed and all other kinds of trash even if he made a good account of himself.

That about sums it up. Bum-love-kin will continue on his Bum-Of-The-Month tour and duck Andre Ward.

theyd come out with all the usual bs - hes a part time boxer part time commentator

fact is Ward is a 175er, thats his weight now, he cant make 168

he cleaned it out a long time ago

its either time to step up and test those elite skills vs SK and AB or be forever known as a immense waste of talent

what people dont seem to be taking into account is the fact this guy fights 4 times a year so unless something goes disastrously wrong he will fight at least 20 more times before he hangs up the gloves , im sure along the way nearly all the names mentioned will get there shot . listen to OP in his video , he talks sense , its all about the right time to make these fights .

all the people shouting GGG is ducking him and him and him have no clue what they are talking about . these superfights will happen when the time and money is right and not before . prime example #maypac

Great points and all true, I really favor GGG in a Ward fight, but nobody can say anything other than what you said about it being the most risky fight he could take.

The reason I favor GGG is because nobody has shown a glimmer of hope that they could keep Golovkin from hitting them. Andre makes his living by making you miss, but GGG isn't like a conventional fighter (Froch, Kessler, Abraham), he is GOING to land his shots, and Ward will land his shots too, but at the end of the night, GGG's shots are so much bigger.

I feel Ward would just fight him on the inside and dominate. I do think Golovkin should just stay at 160 and do what he's doing. At some point Canelo will move up and fight him. However I believe Canelo is a much more difficult fight for Golovkin than many believe. I actually think he will win. He can stand in the pocket and brawl and that could be a problem for Golovkin.
