Careful matchmaking could be a factor maybe :think He looked good behind his jab in Chisora II but Chisora isn't exactly a reat boxer. He struggled with Cunningham's long jab as well, and chose to pass over the fights with Pulev and Ustinov so I think he's unprepared for anything close to Wlad's level. And that's without considering the power difference.

Nice I'll be sure to check it out Rummy. I don't always agree with you, but I usually your videos. Been a while since you've covered the heavies eh?

I still think that chances are 50/50 that Fury bottles it, but he does so in the ring in order to collect his cheque.....intentional DQ or, less likely, freak injury.

Yeah, I think you nailed it when you previously stated "I do think his only chance is to Close The gap and outmuscle Wlad without getting nailed with a big shot."

All the same, this is the most excited I've been for a heavyweight fight in years.

The knockdown delivered by Cunningham is the one that sticks clear in my head, however.

Yeah, I think I only did one heavyweight episode prior to this after one of Wilder's fights. I wish I had more time, as I'd love to do these far more frequently. But I have made heavyweight references in most of my episodes, even if they have been almost exclusively focused primarily on the 147-175 weight range.

The funny thing is I watched nothing but heavyweights for years after Hagler retire, starting with Tyson and lasting up until the late 90s - heavyweights were all I watched.

I cracked up at the Valuev part, and the Farmboxer reference was funny too. I agree with your ****ysis as well. Even if Fury is able to control the fight and have spurts of success, eventually he'll make a mistake and that's when Wlad will catch him. This one could be eerily similar to the Pulev fight.

That shot by Cunningham was almost swung full circle when it caught Fury.

Firstly , Fury was acting the clown. Secondly , Wlad doesn't throw over hand swings like that.

There will be no clowning from Fury in Dusslerdorff. A version of Fury nobody has ever seen will be boxing the most focused and defensive minded fight of his life.

The Wlad from the Jennings fight would get battered side ways by Fury so i don't see how he can win unless he has a ref that forbids Fury from hitting Wlad.

Its happened out there before. It can happen again.

    I don't know...

We'll find out in a few weeks. I do maintain with Wlad being nearly 40, and Fury possessing a few intangibles that make him unique as far as recent Wlad opponents go - a perfect storm scenario arising where Fury dethrones Wlad wouldn't entirely surprise me.

    I don't think it's likely, but...

The Valuev song...genius.:good Fine work BE.

Fury will pose Wlad 0 problems IMO, Wlad by KO in 4, like you said I can't shake the Cunningham shot or more importantly the Pajkic shot, Fury has no chin...none and that's not up for debate. Also like you said Wlad deals with big guys with relative ease and most of them have far better chins than Tyson has exhibited. I also think its a possibility that Fury goes down in round 1 like Pulev and doesn't make the count. Wlad is getting old and may not want to allow Tyson to get into any sort of rhythm and decide to go all out not fearing Tyson's inadequate power and blast him out early and get back home in time to have a celebratory bang with Hayden.

I think the division will be a lot more interesting again once Wlad retires, it will open up and former victims, as well as the new blood will be looking to seize the opportunity and make their mark....

CW division is heating up as well... It's always been underrated, but it's better than ever now and finally we're seeing good matches between top fighters on a regular basis. Any potential fights there that peak your interests enough for you to cover?

this fight will be a repeat of the Pulev fight...

    I hope not though...

I'd rather see a slug-fest with both hitting
    the canvas multiple times...

but it could end up being a dance and
hugging and grabbing turd-fest like watching
two OctoPusses wrastlin on Discovery channel!!
