An early KO for Wlad - something maybe resembling something similar to Lewis-Grant - would not surprise me. I have a sneaking feeling that Wlad will find the mark with his left hook, and even though Wlad doesn't utilize it as often as he did in earlier years, that short quick hook off the jab is a work of beauty, and something I think that will be abundantly available for him.

At cruiser? I confess to not being as well versed in the current crop as I ought to be, and the last cruiserweight fight I watched was Glowacki-Huck.

As for heavyweights, it was just different. Back in the 90s through the early 00s, I remember regularly seeing fights involving Tyson, Holy, Bowe, Lewis, Ruddock, Foreman, Morrison, Mercer, Moorer, Tua, Rahman, Golota, Maskaev, Byrd, Oquendo, Etienne, Grant, Ruiz, McCline, Briggs, Savarese, and many others.

The heavyweight division just doesn't get the same type of televised exposure, and I've always thought the 90s crop was a very interesting and skillful lot.

To be precise it'll resemble knockdown number 3 in Lewis-Grant.:deal Either position Fury's chooses to fight in he's screwed either a left hook or a straight right awaits him.

Gypsy Batboy is lucky he's made it past all

I can't explain but I think Povetkin vs Wilder could be the most exciting HW match up since Lennox vs Vitali, but I'm one of the very few who believe It'll be a close and exciting fight :nut

Just to play devil's advocate, I honestly thought Byrd-Golota and especially Brewster-Liakhovich were more exciting/entertaining than Lewis-Vitali. But I get what you're saying.

That the one where they questioned Lewis about holding and hitting, and he said something to the effect "No, I wasn't holding and hitting - I was just keeping his head in place".

    :rofl
