Watched round 3 several times now, and although Ward did a better job for the reasons you described, I don't generally think he did enough to win the round. Kovalev still produced good work. Good video, as always, and good scoring on your part IMO.

    Fair enough. I thought rounds 3, 4, 5, 6, and 10 were all close rounds - giving 3 and 5 to Ward, and 4, 6, and 10 to Kovalev.

Nah, I just wanted to do a piece on Floyd's "2nd Career", and couldn't think of a title, so went with that since it wound up being his final ten fights. But I was more focused on what he did after his first "retirement".

In the lead-up to this fight, I was hoping Fanning would drop by. It was nice to see him sneak in, even if ever so briefly. He might not realize that "Rummy's Challenge" went the way of the dodo.

Hey Rummy just want to say all you're videos are great, don't always agree with you but I can always certainly see you're point. I'd like to see a video on you're top 10 best heavyweights. Thats always a good topic for discussion.

    Thanks for the support!

Was actually planning on something similar to that (top 10 HWs) in December. Will probably be a top 15-20, but with a more limited scope..

Not if they compare his resume at 130 to Floyd's, rumski. What's your take?

    Nice video again Rummy.

I don't think he actually improves as the fight progresses though, but rather that he figures out his opponent's movements, mannerisms and defence so he can use that to start dominating completely.
I do want to see Siri II too, but I also believe it won't even be competitive. He had found out Salido too in the last couple of rounds and started dominating him too... Without the weightcheating, fouling and with having lost a step as well in my opinion, he won't have a chance against an improved Loma who has already found him out.

    Very good vid Rummy.
A big fan of both these fighters, which somehow is not done here on this forum, because you have to pick a side.
We don't know what would have happened, but like you said, the rematch should have happened.

By the way, Vitali didn't retire for almost 3, but almost 4 years even due to the injury.
