maybe but the only one begging for it for the past two years or so is khan he needs to stfu and move on or imo retire he is only getting hurt against any meaningful 147 fighter it wont end well for khan take your money and run :yep he is slowing and that is his only world class attribute
One clinch to rule them all. Wait.. make it 82. 82 clinches, yeah. Damn ref breaks you up y'know. Ok cool.
I thought Khan won and pretty convincingly, I gave Algieri 3-4 rounds. I think people gave Algieri too much credit because he was unexpectedly game.
He won convincingly, but he got a lot of his flaws exposed. He doesn't look comfortable on the back foot, he has no inside game, and his defense is poor.
I couldn't agree more, and I seriously think Cotto's camp may have made a mistake here, because they potentially give away all that leverage from the dividends paid facing Sergio, and for what? I said it a few weeks ago, it would have been a good time for Cotto to "suffer a cut in sparring" to get out of the Geale fight and look towards one of his more lucrative options. Interesting question. I'm honestly not sure, but nothing is jumping to mind for me. Agreed! Well, when I made that video, it was at a time when it was being reported by Hearn that Froch's retirement was almost certainly imminent. I for one, would love to see Froch-Golovkin, although I think it's a huge risk for GGG.
Does Amir Khan deserve a fight with Floyd Mayweather? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hnfOgFb1l0 [yt]-hnfOgFb1l0[/yt]
:thumbsup My shooting conditions will hopefully improve in the future (would help if I had a camera operator), and my efforts to keep them under 5 minutes have failed, and failed miserably. Thanks for watching, and appreciate the feedback. :good
Thanks for watching. I've been wrong before, I'm sure I'll be wrong again, and I may even be wrong now. But I don't think I am. I just can't see Khan having success based on the reasons so many seem to think will help him, namely speed and combination punching. But, I kind of have a similar view. At this point I think a Cotto rematch is the best option for Floyd that can realistically happen, but if it winds up being Floyd-Khan, I won't be disappointed.
I didn't find it especially convincing myself. In fact, I think Algieri took his foot off the gas a few times when he needed to press down on the accelerator down the stretch over the 2nd half.
Khhhaaaaaannnnnnnnnn!!!!!!! :rofl Oh man, great video.... and I 100% agree. If Khan gets the Floyd assignment, I think he eats timed right hands like a fat girl eats hostess chocolate snacks. Similar to how Manny ate them. While I dont think Floyd hits "harder" than Algieri per se, he has better snap, and better accuracy. I think he hurts Khan worse than Algieri with straigh rights, and sets him up for a shot Khan doesnt see coming. Easy money for Floyd, which is why I think Floyd fights him. I dont think Floyd can get Cotto due to Haymon-JayZ thing... can you see Haymon really giving JayZ a chance to knock out Haymon's crown jewel? Nah, Floyd fights Khan and rides off into the sunset with a KO victory... unless he grants Manny a rematch next year for #50... and another 9 figure payday (which lets face it, will probably happen. )
