Wlad was hurt by Wach. The worst HW ive ever seen. Wlad was lucky there was 5 seconds left in the round.
:yep that's how Fury KTFO Cunningham... held his head with a forearm then looped a right hook once his head was still from his left forearm it was an easy KO... as I said... Fury was hurt by Pajkic and Firtha badly!! Gypsy Batboy is lucky he's made it past all those Burger Bandits without getting KTFO!! He can cash out once he's left the hospital to find his wife took off with the loot!! then Gypsy Batboy can join the circus!! :hey :yep
I admit possible bias on my end regarding Byrd-Golota (although I genuinely thought it was a tremendous fight and a great clash of styles). But Brewster-Liakhovich is an absolute gem of a fight. :good
Ahh! I had forgotten there were 4 knock downs myself. I do, however, remember Grant tagging Lewis with a good right hand or two himself very early on. :smoke
Stop thinkng about the Cunningham knockdown. Cassius Clay was dropped by 180lb Henry Cooper in his last fight before Liston. Hatton had been dropped a few times before he faced Tszyu and everyone thought it was just a matter of time before that right hand landed. People werent acounting for the difference in desire. Good fighters do switch off in seemingly easy match ups. Tyson will be switched on big time and just like Clay and Hatton you are going to be surprised at what a focussed Tyson can really do.
I thought I was pretty fair and accurate in my assessment of Fury. You could be right, and Wlad's age and Fury's hunger and determination could result in that perfect storm scenario I mentioned. But at the same time, you bring up two examples, but I think those tend to be reflective of exceptions to the rules, rather than to the rules themselves. I said it was difficult for me to forget the USS knockdown because it IS difficult for me to forget that. However, seeing him stand up to a few Wlad rights and/or left hooks and/or even stiff jabs - that would be the type of thing that might change my mind and make it easier to forget. :smoke
I think Fury will start slow and keep Wlad at range with his jab, going on the backfoot for most of the first few rds. After rd six, Fury starts to take control with flurries using a high guard. I think the flurries will start to wear Wald down after rd 8... Last 4 rds, Fury may be down on the cards due to a slow start but I expect him tom finish Wlad of in the four remaining rounds when Wlad usually tires and Fury's outstanding stamina comes into play. If the fight reaches the later rds, by any means. I think Fury is gong to knock him out.
Great video Rummy You should definitely make the Valuev song on a MP3 or CD and sell it on the forum...but I get 5% of royalty for the idea...!!!
