Another quality video.:good I agree Canelo looks worse and worse at every 155 weigh in. But they are willing to keep doing it. It could come back to bite them on the azz. As for Oscar's grin? I have a feeling hes back on the sauce. He will probably send Canelo on vacation for the rest of 2016.
Thanks Doc! I think I replied to you already in the other thread, but if I didn't apologies for me being a burnout. Always appreciate the feedback! :good
Hi Rummy [III from Me! : )] watched the tape here. Not as "proof" as the Wlad return. You are CRAZY/LAZY if you truly believe that Floyd-Tipple G. IS NOT at a 150 m purse Floyd "start out" [they should reel it in 145 m. "take it or leave it". Golovkin has got to demand at least 69,000,000.00 to put him into the projection of the FIGHT!]// You are VERY RIGHT ABOUT THE DANGER HERE. No, "150lbs." doesn't make good sense. What was it Floyd vs Saul? Why can they not go 160? 159?
Nice. I really do expect Wlad to win the rematch though Rummy, because it's not hard to figure out what he did wrong in the first fight. And even if he's truly shot to pieces, there's still a decent chance he can beat Fury by just mauling away at him like a novice, because of his tremendous power and Fury's not too stable mandible.
Oh, I don't think Floyd would ever fight north of 154. The only match he had at the true 154 limit was against Cotto, and Miguel was always a small junior middle so it worked. If he fought Alvarez at 151 or 152 or whatever it was, I don't see him fighting a beat like Gennady any higher than that, either.
I really don't have much of an opinion beyond the strong belief that - based on Fury's dominance in the first fight and Wlad having turned 40 - I have to think Fury is the logical favorite. But I think I read here that oddsmakers have made Wlad the favorite? I'm really not sure what to expect. But I'm very interested to see how it plays out. :good
Rumsfeld I dont want to come back here, but I made the case for ali as the GOAT a million times. I only hope you guys give a **** enough to bury your head in the library of boxing history enough to give ali his just due... I know boxed_ears was right there. Almost none of you gave the proper respect, do it now or throw it in the dust bin of history.
Always good to watch these videos. I remember watching the Wlad/Peter fight as it was happening and being on edge every time Wlad went down as I knew if he lost that fight, that'd probably be it for him. With Wlad at 40 and Fury possibly out of shape to some extent, I'm going to pass on all the speculation about who should theoretically win, and just wait and see what happens and hopefully enjoy the contest.
