Another masterpiece.

Our Rummy does it again. He’s a P4P champ at boxing video production, but @Rumsfeld takes it further in tapping into this forum’s great well of knowledge to do more than simple videos that amount to ‘this guy was really good’ and harnessing expertise and opinion across the internet boxing community to preserve real history … snapshots of how we, in this particular time, view fighter rankings and matchups that will preserve that knowledge and opinion for all time.

The International Boxing Hall of Fame should not only consider enlisting Rummy’s skills and artistry to enhance its exhibits with digital gold, but I honestly believe his contributions should one day be rewarded with a place in that very hall. We can only hope that one day happens, where Rummy can take his rightful place alongside the late, great Hank Kaplan and others.

(Incidentally, let me express that I am humbled that Rummy chose not only to quote me in this installment, but to do so alongside the esteemed @McGrain — Mr McG and I have often disagreed and even butted heads in threads here, but I hold his knowledge and analysis to be at the very top tier of expertise on the sport among all living historians and aficionados of the Sweet Science.)
