Clottey went from 147 lbs to 170 lbs overnight in his fight with Corrales.

Isn't this pure BS.. I mean how stupid is it that they allow that?

So actually he just weighed right for about a few moments at the official weigh to then bulk up that much. That is not fair and shou;d be pohibited. Then calderon just beat an opponent from, how much, 4 weightclasses higher!?

They should weigh fighters just minutes or max a few hours before the fight.

I am sorry but I don't get this... :patsch

    peace

One loophole in boxing that unscrupolous men can manipulate to their advantage. I've always wanted a same-day weigh-in...

Actually, if he weighed 131 he was a lightweight on fight night. Incredible.

    exactly man!

You obviously knew this before, but I never noticed these differences in weight.

Very strange because no-one really seems to care..:huh This is a major (problem) factor in boxing.
Anyway nice that someone agrees with me:good
