Interesting if true but I wonder is 42 year old GGG can make 160 or if it would be a catch weight?

Source BOXRAW twitter account they have 20K followers.

If GGG is even close to the faded version from the 3rd Canelo fight I think he KO's Bud but father time waits for no man and inactivity is never good.

GGG been living la Dolce Vita; no way could he get down to 160 without serious use of drugs. At which point he'd be drained like Ali was vs Holmes.

I'm not defending Crawford anymore. This is a trash fight and he should retire if he's not taking challenges against the young guns

Crawford cherrypicking a fossilized inactive GGG is absolutely disrespectful to the sport

That " Cherry picking, fossilized, inactive GGG" damn nearly beat Canelo when he didn't
get out of first gear & just cruised with Canelo though didn't he? You can imagine him saying " Theyre just going to rob me AGAIN! for a third time so I'll just play with him"

Question from a younger generation fan.

    Why was Ali drained?

that is a risk for Crawford. He loses they say he lost to a guy who is on the downside of his career. I don't think this is real. GGG was at the Olympics and he does not look in fighting shape.

Prime GGG beats the breaks off Crawford, but now? I see Crawford UD. GGG is old and inactive.

GGG could very well beat Craw. This is a great fight. Bit silly of Craw if he takes it though since its high risk and low reward.

He just fought a tough young guy. Prior to that Spence. Yeah, it was a one sided whooping, but going into that fight, it was a 50/50 fight were the winner is P4P number 1. But to your point, yeah, I want to see Bud fight Boots, Then Tszyu.

Story was, as I recall, that he took drugs as recommended to him to lose some weight. If you ever saw the Holmes fight, you can see his body looked weird. That's all I remember but I can look for more info.

Ok he took Thryrolar to get his weight down to 217 which was his lightest weight in years. He blamed the drug for his poor per4 but he was at the end of the line anyway.

GGG probably KO's him still. That would be funny.
I think he'd make the weight fine. He's just got fat, but not as fat as Saunders between every fight probably.
GGG is pretty disciplined when he wants to be and loves his money so he'd probably train hard. He's not a big 160 fighter anyway, despite what people used to pretend.
He better come for a streetfight though and not try to box. If he does that and loses again it will look really bad.
