Beterbiev vs Stevenson soon?

 

Good for boxers, bad for the sport. Beterbiev don't need no protection and would have made his share of money without Haymon. The problem is that Haymon owns Stevenson which wrapped up Yvon Michel hands. With Michel feud which HBO (David Lemieux case), Beterbiev is stuck too and won't be able to fight Kovalev or Pascal anytime soon with his new "advisor". The worst part is that Michel said that a Stevenson-Beterbiev fight would never happen...atsch Poor Beterbiev...stuck at the wrong place at the wrong time. **** Haymon.

 

My understanding was that Heymon is pulling Campillo out of the fight with Beterbiev, not the leat of which is NO signed contract.

So if you do not sign a contract, or agree to options with a Heymon fighter, he pulls his guy of the fight.

When Haymon signed Stevenson, it changed everything. Beterbiev signed with the wrong Quebec promoter but he couldn't predict what could have happen next. Michel won't say it out loud but when Stevenson signed Haymon, he knew his hands was handcuffed from that moment for him and his other fighters...

With Beterbiev being under contract with GYM, if he would have refused to sign with Haymon, his career would have been on hold. Sadly, he had no other choice but to sign with Haymon and he probably knew it.

I just hope that some lawyers will work hard to try to find some mistakes that Haymon could have done during the process. He clearly found a loophole in the law and is abusing of it.

You'll have to explain to me how is this a smart move by Beterbiev when the other belts are not hold by a Haymon fighter. Especially when Yvon Michel told that a Stevenson-Beterbiev fight would never happen. You blinded by everything surrounding Haymon and Mayweather. As much as you hate Golovkin, he would become the truth in your eyes if he would sign with Haymon. This is how biased you are.

? He had a verbal contract. Beterbiev wanted to choose the opponent. and he had that option. And 3-year contract.

If Beterbiev would not have signed. He would have lost 2 years. Because he contract with Michel for 2 to 3 years. Beterbiev will have his chance for a championship for a belt because it is probably in the contract.
