I do not think a Wlad/Sanders fight would sell real well in the States, that would probably be in Germany.

i dont get it..how is Byrd shot just because he lost to Wlad? Why cant it be Wlad is just that much better than Byrd? Do yall know what shot means?

He aint never been on the level to beat Wlad...he fought him a LONG time ago..and got brutally beatin....fought him years later...and got brutally beatin again....thats not a shot fighter tho...thats just a fighter that can't beat Wladimir Klitschko.

That card would be great. Both brothers fighting in the same event, in rematches. Byrd is still a contender and it's a good comeback fight for Vk. Sanders is very old and a win over him would not prove anything, but it's a tuneup and Wlad might want to have Sanders' name in his W resume.

However, I doubt that card happens. Vitali has already signed to fight McCline. Byrd will probably fight Brock, he talked about that chance in a recent interview. The only fight that might happen is Wlad-Sanders, but that's not something 100% sure.

Good guess, but NOBODY is bigger in Germany than David Hasselhoff! "The Hoff" is gonna open that eye up like a can of tomato juice!

No,Wlad vs McCline isnt a done deal.

When asked by German tv about his opponent Vitaly replied that there were still negotations with several fightes. He added that he would probably face a "world famous fighter" who is well known in Germany.

McCline is neither a "world famours fighter" nor a well known fighter in Germany.

Id pay to see V.K. vs Nicolay Valuev. That would be an interesting fight and i think he is well known in germany and to boxing fans world famous due to the don king show while he was champ

This is a golden opportunity for both Sanders and Byrd, if it happens, that is.

And coming off a layoff, and surgery, Vitali's taking a recent titleholder, and still legit top ten contender in Chris Byrd is a very good move, and it ALSO serves double duty by avenging one of his two losses.

Vitali/Byrd is a great move, one that makes all kinds of sense.

Don't let the Klit haters and scoffers drag this fight into the muck, as its an absolutely great fight for Vitali to take. Anyone who knows boxing can see that.

And having Sanders Wlad on the same card would really make it an event. Two very good fights, both bros avenging losses, and cleaning out the closets, so to speak. Great move.

I hope McCline Vitali is off and Byrd Vitali about to be on, cause Byrd would be a better, more competitive, and more credible opponent for Vitali than McCline would.

Byrd was only recently beaten by Wlad, and noone else managed to beat Byrd. So one loss to Wlad in no way means Byrd is any less than he was before. Byrd will still be his same old self. Very good and bold choice for a comebacking Vitali.

If the McCline press thing is next Monday, I guess we'll know for sure, then.

Please refer to this when Vitlay fans are saying Lewis wouldn't rematch Vitlay because he was scared.

Wladimir could fight Samson & Vitali could fight Hercules & somehow you'd find fault with their choice of opponents.................

Dude, really, if you don't like the Klitschkos you'll need to watch the other weight classes and post in threads about them because The Klitschkos are going to rule the division for the next few years. It's about time you get used to it. :good

Yeah, I know, the only reason the Klitschkos are competitive is because there's no real competition in your opinion at HW.

Well, you're wrong. The current level of competition is far superior to that of one of your favorite HW's, Larry Holmes. His era reeked of lousy fighters in the HW division, yet you defend him & his reign as if he were God-like.
