I'd much rather see Holyfield stick to the seniors circuit than take on young, prime, guys. Povetkin is in a lose-lose situation here. If he wins he simply beat up a 49 year old former great. If Holyfield were to make it competitive than that erases some of the credibility Povetkin got back from beating Chagaev. If Holyfield upset Povetkin that would be a disaster for him. Of course, the large payday Povetkin should get is one posititve reason for him taking the fight.

Povetkin should run right through Holyfield and stop him in the mid rounds. Povetkin isn't a huge puncher but he hits hard enough to stop this ancient version of Holy who had a lot of trouble with Sherman Williams this year. Everyone knew Povetkin would take atleast one or two easy defesnes but Holyfield is even lower than I hoped for.

Holyfield has been shot for a long time. However he has still managed to have some decent performances. Even if Holyfield somehow fights a good fight and troubles Povetkin, he will not win the title (as against Valuev).

This fight would probably go like Lebedev-Jones. Povetkin would have few points leading, by the time he catches Holyfield in the later rounds and brutally KOs him.
