You know i have my sources, almost always accurate.
this one says if donaire and arum work things out, he will put together a card with donaire challenging Rigo for a belt at 122.Possible november.
Rigo is fighting in the summer, possible at cotto-margo 2
    what are the odds?
always with my countryman,Rigo but Nonito would be a heck of a fight.
    WAR Rigo!

If nonito beats rigondeaux he is a top fighter of the year candidate. Would be a really awesome fight.

Rigondeaux is nowhere near as marketable as Donaire. I've no idea why Arum would risk his potential cash cow successor to Pacman against the unmarketable Rigo.

I say you or your sources are full of **** and we won't see this fight any time soon.

i beg your forgiveness since u know so much about boxing and marketability
Arum is done with Nonito, he knows as soon as his contract expires he is gone.
A fight with Rigo will sell very well at HBO, none of them collect enough for PPV...the winner will become the big star.

I don't see it either.. A fight with Mares or Agbeko is what we'll probably see towards the end of the year..

Hope your source is right but have to agree, a fight with Mares would make more sense with HBO as far as ratings go.

Mares is with Golden Boy. The best Top Rank fighter available for Donaire is Rigo and we all know how Bobby likes to keep it in house and collect all the cash.

I'm not saying I know everything about boxing and marketability but common sense says Rigo v Donaire won't happen any time soon. Rigo is the biggest threat on Donaire's radar now.

The difference between Donaire and Rigo is Donaire has potential to be a PPV star, Rigo will never be.

I'll bet you anything we won't see Donaire fight Rigo in the next 12 months (or ever possibly). Sounds to me that you're talking about the fight out of hope than out of a realistic chance of it occurring. I'd love to see it happen, it's one of the best match ups that can be made in the sport.

I like Donaire in this one. He's taller, just as skilled, and I believe a smarter fighter

Damn. Looks like Top Rank has decided to throw Rigo under the bus. Rigo is not quite ready to bang with the likes of Donaire. (Box yes. Bang no. Rigo needs to fight more often.) I guess Arum is getting ready to move Nonito to the front of the Top Rank money train.

Donaire mashes him at this point. Rigo can have all the amateur experience he likes, nothing in the amateur ranks would have prepared him for Nonito, he needs several more fights before he's ready.
