BUM is harsh word but was he ****ing overrated yes he was, flatfooted brawler with very little technique C level skills A level chin and heart nothing more nothing less, in compassion to A + level fighters like Floyd, JMM, Pac he is nothing he isnt even a slightly dangerous for them, you will see how easy Pac wil KO him!!!

Agree he is heavy favourite and I'm a big Rios fan. Still though there doesnt look like alot of options out there although I agree I would prefer to see Alvarado in there.

I don't understand why Alverado doesn't get the money fight. He just beat Rios and you match him up against a no money Ruslan for his win, but give Rios even more money for losing to fight Manny.

Rios and Ruslan should be the fight, Alvarado vs. Manny, and Timmy vs. Marquez.

Manny's people want a highlight reel knockout. Rios presents the best opportunity for this to happen.

u mite be right. pacs power aint like it used to be. an the weight gain could benefit his punch resistance.

I think Manny and Brandon are losing punch resistance. That said Brandon has major major power and that is in his jab alone. If he can time Manny he could put him to sleep.

Brandon needs to rematch Abril first.

Rios isn't a bum, he's good at what he does but he has no chance of winning this fight...he doesn't have the hand speed, foot speed, craft, or experience to beat Manny. It would be stupid for Brandon's people to put him in this fight.

Rios has zero defense and is a plodding face first fighter who will come straight at Pacquiao and back straight up. One thing about Rios is his leather tough skin that does not bruise or cut easily, that could mean brain damage with a guy like Pacquiao. He could theoretically eat over 1000 punches in this fight which is not good. Pacquiao will destroy Rios.

Alvarado hurt Rios on several occasions last fight, do you really think he will walk through a much harder punching Pacquiao? Doubtful

  13. Lol at the guy who said Rios can put manny to sleep. He's no JMM and it took JMM 42 rounds to get that result. Bam bam is gonna go night night then probably crash Mannys post fight interview like he did with Alvarado. Embarrassing if you ask me

Biggest fight of Rios' career. Its possible he could pull the upset but the fact is Rios is himself is on the decline, his style makes sure of that. I'd say he has one or two more good fights in him and then he should retire. If he loses to Pacquiao he should retire.
