Rumor: Velasquez vs. Silva, Overeem vs. dos Santos at UFC 160

Cormier plans to move down to LHW after he fights Mir. He boldly proclaimed that he wants to kick Jones ass. :deal

 

If ever a fight should be made at catchweight it's this one. With Jones wanting to go HW and DC's kidney failure in the past. A catchweight fight between these two would see them at their best I think as DC could drop a bit of fat and I'm sure Jones would be stronger with no cutting whatsoever. Wouldn't be for the strap I suppose but for me this would be the best fight out there as they have similar wrestling ability and are closer in natural weight than GSP/Silva, Silva/Jones or Jones/CV

So there would be no catch weight

 

Well, technically they would be fighting in HW. But you know what I mean: an agreement that neither man will exceed 215 or 220 or something so there would be a lower upper limit and that is kind of a catchweight.

 

Cormier said it in his last fight with strikeforce. 2-3 weeks ago I think? Announced Mir was next, then he'll drop down to put the beatdown on Jones.
