Rumors are Shane is getting abused in sparring... While Floyd is looking PRISTINE!

Good, more pain in training the better, that's what its for.

 

Doesn't mean much. I have heard rumors like this for years. A guy looks bad in sparring and then does great in the fight, and then the guy who looks great in sparring looks bad in the fight. When Leonard fought Norris in 1991, he was knocking guys out a Gleasons Gym I seem to recall.

 

Two things.

First off, sparring is practice. If you are fighting at full intensity, you're doing it wrong.

Secondly, sparring means NOTHING about a fight, IMO. I've seen guys get totally outclassed in sparring only to win their next fight. Eddie Chambers was almost getting worked over by Tor Hamer before beating the everlovin **** out of Dimitrenko. And Mtagwa I thought had a lot of trouble with guys before his fight with Juanma, where he almost took his ****ing head off!

But in both cases, the guys were not taking it full-steam. They were working on what they do worst and improving on it.

 

Leave the rumors and gossip to our grandmothers....

Shane is going to get ****ed up, regardless of who or how he spars

I love these sources 'close to the situation'. These phantom sources are nothing but hype job bullshitters.

 

I wish I was a journalist so I could not cite a specific source and create fake stories.

 

Maybe Floyd needs better sparring partners.

Maybe Shane needs to concentrate more of getting those darned kids of his lawn!

 

I wouldn't pay much attention to rumours off sparin, prior to mayweather v marquez peterson was apparantly giving PBF all he could handle, didn't see much of that in the fight.

Both will be tip top come fight night

on the interview where Floyd was talkin about B-Hop...its on ESB somewhere...Floyd looked as if he had a little bruising under his eye too. I think both are traiining hard...this fight is going to be extremely competitive.

 

Probably in the first few rounds. If Shane doesn't lead by then it's PBF all the way. Shane will gas out. :yep

 

if Mosley is really getting his ass whipped in sparring then he has no shot against any of the top WWs.
