Bute does need to prove himself, and that is what ward said. In fact ward didn't say anything that wasn't true. As it stands if they fought and ward won the first thing that people would start saying is that bute wasn't that good. And he hadn't beat any good fighters.

You guys seem to think that hold a belt makes you an elite fighter. Truth is its a debate about who is butes' best win, andrade or a near 50 year old Johnson. That's not impressive on any level

Prove that and you may have a case here. Make a thread and ask if anyone wants to see Bute vs. Froch.
    Otherwise you look dumb.

Acting like you didn't undertand my point won't make you look less stupid.
You just created more stuff that need to be proven now.
    1) Prove that casual fans can not have accounts on boxing websites
    2) Prove that casual fans do not want to see this fight
    3) Prove that there are other "do-able" fights at 168 now, involving Bute or Froch, that could draw more interest than Bute vs. Froch, even for the casual fans

    Good on Bute, if true.

It could be suicidal, though. Unless it's being done purely to get back on HBO.

They are suing Showtime? That'll help scare any American TV Networks from signing him.

HBO are historically known for shitting on foreign fighters.

But, good luck to Bute. If Ward is with Showtime he'll never land that fight.

Well ward for one. If ward feels that bute needs to elevate his game then that's his right. As I have said a number of times people aren't screaming for this fight. As such bute has to wait for the nod. Outside of some diehard bute fans that thinks this fight has to happen now, we can wait for this fight to grow some wings. Jones vs Hopkins come to mind it happen too fast. As a result jones doesn't get full credit for beating Hopkins. Oh hopkins was green or he hadn't fought anyone yet. Hopkins was a better fighter later. I remember watching that fight and never did it enter my mind that I was watching what was one of the biggest fights of the next 20 years with two of a generations best fighters.
