Bute doesn't need to prove ****. He's in his prime, he just fought a Super Six semi-finalist (after Ward had said the S6 champ should face Bute), Espinoza wants the fight, Goosen was actually offered the fight and declined.

Goosen & Ward, clearly in limbo between SHO & HBO, are the ones who put a stop to Ward-Bute. Not Interbox. Not SHO.

If they just want more money, they should ****in say it. :good

 

I'm sure regarding Ward next opponents - many of them will have worse resume compared to Bute . For example Magee , ( Bute win by KO against Magee one year ago ) .

Showtime has had one goal with SuperSix and now apparently wants Bute sacrifized on the same bon-fire.... protecting an american so that it looks like he is dominating the division.

And they now try to force Bute to meet the American at home in america.

 

European/Canadian/Japanese/Argentinian boxers need to forget about the US and American television.

The Klitschkos, Russian boxers, and the Sauerland fighters are doing very well financially without the USA.

The jinjoistic Americans who run Showtime and HBO will just try to ruin the careers of talented non-American boxers like Bute, with the exception of Pacquiao because he's promoted by Arum.

It's sickening to see what the Americans have done to visiting boxers the past few years (Matthysse, Kessler, Zaveck, Kotelnik, Dzinziruk). They've blackballed talented Eastern Europeans like Pirog and the Klitschkos.

There is to much "if it ain't American, it ain't right" nationalistic bigotry with Showtime and HBO.

 

We dont know what is in this contract. So we cant decide if Interbox is doing the right thing or is trying to get out of here because there's more money on HBO for example. Or we cant know if Showtime is ****ing around with Interbox and so Interbox is only doing what's ok, meaning breaking the contract. But to do so, I guess you have to go in court.

I want to see this fight as much as anyone, but the simple truth is if it made business sense for them to do it, they would.

The president of Romanian Boxing Federation is a friend of Bute , he is the one who advised him to go pro and he was the one who went to Canada with him to sign with Interbox. He also is the one who Co-Promoted the Mendy fight in Romania.

The guy as a head of a national boxing commission, which isn't a party to the issue, has no business making such statements. It's completely inappropriate....typical of Romanian businessman actually.
