    Intresting crossroads fight...

A loss for Rios and he should really hang em up

Benavidez a once highly thought of prospect who has lost a lot of luster...

Now it would happen at 147

If Rios is in good shape, his style could give Jose fits. Jose has been down before and Rios can crack. Jose is no Bradley

Saw Brandon at the Regional Golden Gloves in Wichita,.Kansas a few weeks ago. He looked fit and well rested. We had a late lunch with him and his parents. He was in good spirits and looking forward to the next chapter of his life. He did not speak of fighting again. Said he wanted to hang out with his wife and kids and enjoy life. It is obvious now that he has become hungry again. He is training with Ricky Funez and looking to come back possibly in July. Funez wants him to have at least one tune up fight before stepping up. Funez says they are going back to basics. Back to where Rios boxed more and used his jab. More jabs, a lot of jabs and combinations. No more walking and taking punches to land his own. Head movement and angles.

That's a close fight.. Benavides as tall and lanky with long reach tends to go wide with his hooks on the inside. If Rios came in shape and ready he can catch Benavides in an exchange and hurt jose.. Rios in top shape is a superb finisher, and could possibly win this fight if he can hurt jose, which I think he can. I'd love to see it, **** it make it happen.

Benavidez moving up in weight, then? He's pretty awful. Not sure how he was such a hyped prospect. I didn't see much.

Anyways, if Rios is on any form, he should beat up Benavidez.

Yes if Rios trains hard he can maybe TKO Benavidez

It will be hard for Jose to outbox Rios for 12 rounds
