He should accept that even though it might be unfair. He needs that one big PPV crossover fight.

He will take that. GGG himself would fight Canelo for free just to get the belt and get that over with.

So if there were no numbers from HBO, you can use a number from the guy who said that Cotto vs Canelo sold 650k ppvs ?

Golovkin's ppv was a relative flop, so HBO had nothing to brag about.

Where is the rumour coming from? GGG should accept if true, it will be worth it long term.

^This. Crush Pollo Loco and then unify the entire division.

Well, the guy who said Cotto Canelo sold 650k PPVs also happens to be a pretty reliable source, so....

If you guys believe the high numbers when GGG fights, you have to believe them when for Mayweather or other Haymon fighters.

If you belive the low numbers when GGG fights...

    Well you get the point.

This is the intelligent person's rule.

2 million to beat the snot out of Canelo? At 160 GGG will clown him. Sounds tempting, frankly.

Pac was smart not to take Floyd's flat rate offer but I think this is not an equivalent situation considering GGG's lack of big fight options.

    He should take the fight.

I think he should take it also, otherwise it's clear that he's not looking to unify, he's looking for paydays. IF this is true.

That would be just as unlikely as Canelo agreeing with a 168lbs rehydration clause instead of a 155lbs catch weight

GGG is mandatory, there's no a side b side here.
