Can Anyone Confirm This? Or shed some light on it?

I just read somewhere that he may be having trouble with weight...

From what i read just on various boxing websites was that he got as high as a LHW during his time off . . .

Cant say ive read hes struggling in particular, but he came into training very heavy.

Yup. Although I wouldn't doubt he's struggling a tad, he might of partied a bit too much after the Cotto win but he should be fine.

If he can't make 147.. all that smack talk oh man.. out the window.

Steve Kim reported something along those lines when he first started camp and said something about him looking huge.

Just one more middleweight pretending he is a welter. It is truly amazing what that man can do to his body and survive. How long can it go on?

I'm sure he will...he has a wirey bodyframe...he's not a thickset guy...so he'll do it as well as be able to campaign into higher weight classes...how successful he does depends on his skills (see Trinidad, DeLaHoya, RJJ, Mayweather and Duran for details :deal)

Margo isnt a real skilled fighter, moving up in weight would take away his biggest advantage...If he cant walk though shots and over power guys plain and simple he will lose, which is the reason that he has thoughtout his career rejected fights with bigger guys.

Cotto came into camp at 170lbs which is on the heavy side for a 5'7" guy. Baldomir walks around at 180lbs+ and Hatton is around that as well. Margo will make weight with no problem.
