Anyone else find this disturbing? Supposedly Mayweather complaining loudly about not getting paid enough, Hatton and Beard fed up with him for supposed chronic tardiness (among other issues). Overtures from Roach's people to Hatton about becoming his next trainer? If half this is true I think it has got to effect Hatton. At least somewhat.

It would be interesting, if Hatton is behind and Snr. is trying to give him advice in the corner. Will Snr. not give effective advice, will Hatton even listen at all?

its not a rumour. floyd senior admits it (bbc.com i think) but says it's not a bad thing.

i agree with him in theory because having clashes like this can bolster a camp - but flyd senior is delusional so i'm not going to say that this is a positive.

First it was Hatton planning to replace Mayweather Sr. because he didn't come on time during training sessions and now it's because Hatton didn't pay him good. Not sure if this is true, an early excuse or just bull**** rumors out of nowhere. I am yet to see a single live interview from Hatton confirming this, if anything he has been 100% pro Mayweather Sr.

I don't buy any of it. If Hatton loses he lost to the better man period.

Wining is the greatest deodorant, if they win all animosities will subside for the time being. That being said,i highly doubt it's true.

Man, I'm surprised anybody can deal with Sr. The guy comes off like a schizoprenic/homeless crackhead. Sure, he's a great trainer, but his personality is so ****ed up, I find it hard to imagine how Hatton or anyone could deal with him.

Mayweather Sr had just seven weeks to prepare Hatton for last November's victory over Paulie Malignaggi, but the lead in to the fight with Pacquiao, who has a record of 48 wins, three draws and two losses, has been a lot longer - leading to divisions in the camp.

But the American insists he is happy with Hatton's preparation, despite admitting to a spot of in-fighting.
"It doesn't mean a camp is not a good camp because there are problems," he said. "It doesn't mean you've had a bad camp. I think he had a good camp.
"It was a problem that could be addressed and taken care of without being in the media. We straightened it out."
When asked if there was a clash between himself and Hatton's assistant trainer Lee Beard, Mayweather said: "Why wouldn't Lee and I be friends? Why would you pick Lee out of everybody?
"There are a lot of people there (in camp), not just me and Lee. But you could be on the right track.
"I'm a no-nonsense trainer. We have a very clear understanding. I respect them and I want them to do the same with me."
