I wasn't referring to either of those guys, more that there's credible guys below that Wlad could potentially beat. Say he called Hearn and said he wanted to comeback. He could fight a Takam or Chisora level guy, maybe a Kownacki or Breazeale in the US and all of a sudden he's back and relevant in advance of a fight against one of the top contenders.

I don't think this is going to happen by the way, hopefully he stays happily retired. Its just not impossible to see a route back for him.

He isn't planning a YEARS LONG comeback. He wants the titles. Joshua has some. Wilder has the WBC. He never owned the WBC belt. He's always wanted that.

Those are also money fights. That's all this is about.

This isn't about barnstorming like Foreman fighting Breazeale and Takam and guys like that.

My god Hearn and Joshua cant win. Wilder fans want the Fury rematch and spit all over Joshua v Whyte and mock it, now there is talk of Wlad coming back it sounds like a great fight to me. Joshua was lucky to win 1st time around. Yeah theres plenty of questions about Wlad but what do you haters care anyway? If Wilder wants it Joshua will take that over Wlad or Whyte or anybody. But if he doesnt, if hed rather rematch Fury, if Fury would rather rematch Wilder, and neither of them want Joshua what the hell do you care anyway?

Also Fury himself owed Wlad a rematch and as for Wilder he may even go running back to the swamp and fight in sports halls where he hid when the Klitchkos were around before they retired.

I'd rather see Wlad have a tuneup type fight against a lower top 10 guy first.

Of course, it sounds great to you. (That's dripping with sarcasm, if you couldn't tell.)

If Deontay Wilder signed to fight a 43-year-old Wlad Klitschko next, and Anthony Joshua was preparing to fight his REMATCH with 30-year-old Tyson Fury ...

I'm sure you'd still consider Wlad a GREAT opponent. (That's dripping with sarcasm, too.)

    Nothing like a 28-year-old champ feasting on a bunch of 40-year-olds. (41-year-old Wlad. 43-year-old Wlad. 39-year-old Povetkin. 37-year-old Takam.)

For all this talk about HOW AWESOME Anthony Joshua's opponents are ... out of the all the guys he's faced in title fights - Charles Martin, Eric Molina, Dominic Breazeale, Wlad Klitschko, Carlos Takam, Joseph Parker, Alexander Povetkin ...

ONLY ONE of his title opponents even won a fight in 2018. (And that was Povetkin over David 'freaking' Price, after Povetkin nearly went down himself.)

All the others either didn't fight at all or they all lost to other fighters.

Only one of those seven has a win in what is now going on two years. That's some murder's row.

This division IS LOADED with PRIME fighters. If Joshua signs for a rematch with a 43-year-old Wlad, Joshua will have become A JOKE.

If wilder and fury are rematching next, Klitschko is easily the next best big money fight for Joshua, by far

Who else that Joshua could pick would be as big of a threat as Klitschko or bring the amout of money that Klitschko would ?

    Bring it on !!!!

Don't think anyone would pay to watch Joshua-Usyk? Isn't Usyk about to be named Fighter of the Year? Don't they have the same promoter? Don't they both fight on DAZN?

Or is Usyk not 43ish enough?

Edward keeps planting this "who knows, we might even fight Miller in America" seed.

If the Wilder/Fury 2 rematch happens, it will have big attention in America, and Eddie probably feels he's need to make a splash over there with AJ ASAP. And that would be the perfect time.

So he might just scrap this Wembley date. I can't imagine the self entitled Dillian Whyte will be happy lol.

Fast Eddie needs a big name for April.

    What's Lennox Lewis doing?

The added bonus of the fight is that Joshua could then claim lineal status.
