    No he did not. Top Rank offered him two options: a) little money, no contract extension or b) big money with a contract extension.

    I like this fight. Hopefully Froch takes some chances and goes for a stoppage.

    Umm......if you want to get technical.....so did Froch.:think

    Have a look at his FB poll. GGG won by like 20% on his poll. Finally tally was GGG 14K, Chavez 12K, DeGale 8K.

    But as a fan, Im glad he's picking Chavez Jr. It's the biggest fight for him to make at SMW as Jr is a top 5 SMW by most ppl's opinion, and has very similar attributes as Froch, but is younger, stronger, fresher, and bigger.

    Froch, obviously has huge advantages in speed, jab, and heart. And the jab should win this one for the Cobra. :think

    Have any of you seen the article on this penned by the turgid Scott Gilford on the main page? Going on abour Chavez walking Carl down and Carl ending up in foetal position


    Lets hope the fight happens and King Cobra puts the final exclaimation point on an absolutely stunning career

    Just read the article and he's in for a shock when Jr steps in the ring with a full blown world class super middle in Froch.

    He seems to conveniently forget once Jr has gotten his best body shots off, Froch will still be there smiling back at him and hitting him back with the hardest shots he's ever had to take and as easy as Froch is to hit, Chavez is just as easy to hit. True nobody has ever traded with Jr and won but Froch isn't the guy you want to go toe to toe with, he'll eat up everything you throw at him and as you tire he'll get stronger and take over.
