So GGG's wife has replaced Loeffler. What do you think prompted that?

Yeah but many GGG fans are still in denial about that, and a 3rd fight may produce a more decisive win, to which even his haters couldn't deny. But then they'll just use age as an excuse which they've used already. But contrary to popular belief, I don't think a Canelo victory is a foregone conclusion if a 3rd fight were to happen.

G is certainly still capable of eeking out a controversial decision by just doing a little more than he did in the first two fights. With all this time off, it could benefit him. I thought G actually did marginally better in the rematch than he did in the first fight when you consider he came out ready to fight (unlike in the first fight) and actually won the first round and with how well he fought in the last 4-5 rounds. G looked healthier in the rematch than he did in the first fight, and the time off could serve him well and have him more ready for Canelo the 3rd time around. Despite his incessant whiny fanboys, G is no joke in there. The guy can fight and Canelo will definitely have his hands full in a 3rd go around.

I wouldn't mind that, Gennady must have already prematurely aged because of diva Canelo's previous shenanigans. There aren't many things I believe in life but Canelo & Oscar's pre- and post-fight monkey business is one thing you can count on.

Please explain how Gennady would have aged more rapidly by anything Canelo did. If by that you mean by Canelo so-called delaying the fight for a year, and making GGG fight less often, as many GGG fans have argued, if anything that would preserve GGG better and slow down his aging.

If it's all about the $$$ for Triple G, then how can be considered the people's champ? And wasn't it Loeffler who got GGG more $$$ in the Canelo rematch by demanding a bigger split?

    Ask those people, not me.
I think it was Golovkin himself.

Are you sure you want to open that can of ginger worms lmao?

The man is a walking controversy. There has been so much controversy and suspicious activities surrounding Canelo that it's almost uncanny. The build-up to the second fight especially must have been mentally extremely taxing. That nasty 118-110 card and those failed drug tests were probably final blow for Gennady and significantly affected his mentality.

Last time I checked, fighters don't have control over judges scorecards. So unless you're a conspiracy nut the Byrd scorecard can't be attributed to Canelo. "But but but Oscar paid her off" Fighter's fight, judges judge. That's how it works.

The drug tests and the rematch being cancelled surely affected both fighters mentality, and how each fighter responded to it was very telling. GGG handled the whole situation about as poorly as he possibly could, while Canelo fully cooperated as far as taking additional tests to show he's clean including a hair follicle test. Anyone with any common sense can deduce what caused the trace amounts of clenbuterol, the well known WADA certified Mexico meat contamination problem.

There has been zero controversy and suspicious activities surrounding Canelo, only conspiracies about the judging in some of his fights and those that do not accept Mexico's meat contamination problem as a real thing. A walking controversey is a guy like Sergey Kovalev who was arrested for punching a woman in the face and kicking her dog.

I think they are somewhat evenly matched. Canelo being the smarter and more versatile fighter should continue to beat GGG more decisively every time they fight. Its like Pac and JMM. I felt the more fights they fought the clearer it got because JMM was able to figure out Pac and employ different tactics every time where Pac really only knows one way of fighting, same with GGG, he is really only excellent coming forward, and even though he was pushed back in the rematch, he looked awkward and lost more decisively.

Certainly hyped to see Canelo v Jacobs, just another opponent that folk said Canelo would never fight.
I’ve always felt Saunders would be the hardest one for Canelo and I’ve no doubt that will happen as well.

there isn't a pro sport on Earth that is 100% on the up and up. Boxing is right there with MMA, barely above Wrestling and Roller Derby.

I can see him knocking Golovkin out in a 3rd fight, folk probably think I’m crazy for saying that but I can see it happening.

Canelo go’s and does his job every time and whatsmore he’s a very clean fighter,no Ref needed when those two fight.
That said Shadow you’re either naive or in denial about corruption in boxing and to be sure I’ve never heard anyone blame Canelo for the corruption, that kinda thing is the promoters job and I can’t see how you can pass off the Mayweather draw card and various others as just ineptness?

This isn’t all about Golden boy either as I’ve a feeling Hearn is up to no good re refs n judges and Wilders team clearly have some clout in that area.
