I'm ok with it. I BELIEVE Golovkin now goes for the kill because he knows he isn't winning otherwise. If he fights like that and Canelo fights like the 2nd fight, it will be a rare PPV that is actually worth the money.
But GGG got the $$$$$$$$ TWICE!! & kicked Canelos ass TWICE!! Plus the boxing world knows who the REAL: champ I !!!!!! GENNADY GENNAYOVITCH GOLOVKIN!!!
Lol Joshua vs anybody ( fury , wilder, or jesus himself )does not make anything what Canelo vs GGG makes. McGregor can only sell more with May. Btw canelo vs ggg 2 sold 1.1 million for $85 each. Joshua can sell some PPV’s but he’s selling them for $19 or so . Yes it is the biggest fight in combat sports.
Kelly Pavlik's looks like he could come back at cruiser or heavyweight. Listen to his opinion on this. This content is protected
I don't know bout that , but I will agree with it today. Jacobs likes to get inside and bang it out when he can. Canelo's chin is far more solid than Danny's.
Pavlik had the first fight 9 round to 3 for GGG lol. He said he gave the first 3 rounds to Canelo then gave 9 rounds in a row to GGG lmfao. Kelly must have missed the last 3 rounds when Canelo went toe to toe and lit the G man up.
The retirement of Groves just now at 30 with people considering him somewhat psychologically and physically diminished, his former opponents Degale and Jack being considered past it at around mid 30 ... just goes to show how ridiculous the narrative against GGG has been. He was absolutely avoided by many fighters (those with something to lose) in his prime and Canelo and Saunders DEFINITELY waited for him to get older in cowardly fashion, with Saunders at least having the honesty to openly admit it. Then goons in boxing fandom pretend that though on one hand all sorts of fighters are visible shells at middle-age, GGG is magical and age isn't an issue/excuse. They even had dope and rob old GGG because they still couldn't beat him after trying to age his bones. Oh, and Wlad was definitely at his career best at 41 years for AJ's legacy, let's not forget that, because he was reborn after the Fury loss and two years off! Povetkin was also amazing one fight from retirement too. Wlad and Povetkin are magic like GGG when they serve false legacy purposes. It's amazing how pathetic so many of these boxers actually are, always wanting everything swung in their favour or refusing to do combat.
In that interview Pavlik redeems himself from socring the first fight 9-3 for G when he goes on to say that in the rematch "the reason why Triple G wasn't using his size and strength, was using his jab was because of the body shots that canelo was landing. I mean, they were brutal!" I really haven't heard that argument from too many posters on here, that it was the body shots from Canelo that forced G to throw the jab so much and not impose his size and strength. I doubt many GGG fans would agree with Kelly on that point. He said that GGG coming on late in the fight was "a little too late", So while Pavlik was way off in his scoring of the first fight, for some reason he did not credit Canelo winning any of the last 3 rounds, he sounds like he has the scoring in the rematch about right.
This is the dumbest thing he could possibly do. Canelo will beat the crap out him if he doesn’t get active. Once again I can’t understand why GGG is allowing himself to slow down activity wise.
Both scores are outside the consensus, but for Kelly to give G 9 straight rounds, you really have to question that. It's one thing to give him maybe one of the last 3 rounds or something, but to give G 10, 11, and 12, after giving G 6 rounds in a row before that, well that's pretty crazy. There's really no justification for that score.
If you go back and look at both fights it's always the first 3 rounds that GGG loses the guy needs to start good the first three rounds. In the middle rounds. Box Canelo and the championship rounds. Just finish strong then and only then do I think he can beat Canelo
If GGG doesn't fight until the trilogy, then he is not going for the kill. He is going for the money.
