From what I gather he wanted a higher face value price on general sale. This would have prob still been considerably less than what touts charge.

It is still cheeky and rather delusional of Sr to want to charge more as his son isn't that big of a star in boxing. Plus, boxing tickets are expensive as it is. Still, at least more fans will get a chance to get a ticket without having to go to Stubhub to get mugged and ***ually assaulted.

If the rumours of Hearn and the touts are true, then something really needs to be done. Does this not break any rules or is it all perfectly legit?

Hearn could afford to offer great seats for £150 when the capacity was 80,000.

What's the 02, 20,000? Will have to pay a lot more for decent seats.

Agreed. I'm not justifying Senior in his demands. He's not got the fans in mind when trying to get Hearn to change his ticketing model.

And yep, something really needs to be done about the secondary ticket market. These parasites have been allowed to semi-legally drain the public for too long.

What gets me is if jnr hadn't seen the contract is he also under restrictions to contact Hearn himself? Yes Hearn cant contact jnr but what about jnr himself? If I'm not mistaken the "deadline" was even known to the public ?

No one has managed to explain to me yet why Eubank shouldn't be difficult.

'Eubank is difficult to deal with' is just a euphemism for 'Eubank doesn't just roll over and give us everything we want'.

Just cause he got offered the same deal as Froch doesn't mean it's a good deal. Froch is a notorious **** for brains when it comes to contracts.

Fairplay to the Eubanks for holding out for what they believe they're worth.

It's bad press and the Eubanks will be seen as toxic people to deal with.

go and listen to the latest hearn interview with IFLTV and see the madness that Eubank Snr was asking for.

honestly the guy wanted to take over the whole promotion of the fight. he has lost the plot no doubt!

it got to the point where he ****ed of eddie, ****ed of sky and K2. he honestly thought that the deadline was a bluff and they wasnt gonna move on to another opponent.

Eubank Snr thinks his son is bigger then Anthony Josua lol.

Eubank snr isn't intelligent he's mentally I'll and is the type of person that will never back down let alone apologise, his son could have the winner here but only if snr is prepared to take what is a good offer.
I think Hearn is very honest, his dad made his name for being the same no nonscence approach to dealing with folk, put it this way I'd believe Hearn over Eubank snr.
I had no idea snr was declared bankrupt, that's incredible as snr was earning more than most boxers now.

Don't see a problem with the ticket prices, maybe eubanks don't want a bunch of casual lower class council estate type people at this event? nothing wrong with having a higher class, superior level of people attend who don't moan about ticket prices because they are too lazy to get off their backside and get a job and never put anything on the end of it and waste tax payers money and constantly fail those "all important" lie detector results.

Nothing is stopping Eubank do his own deal with GGG to get a fight. Oh forgot they don't have the money to front the fight.

It absurd that a guy who isn't promoting can try and dictate how the fight should go.

Mayweather could do it as he self promoted and had the funds to pay up front what needed to be paid.

Eubank needs a promoter and Chris Eubank should just let the promoter do his job.
