Rumour has hit Eubanks snr wanted £200 - £5000 ticket prices

Oh come off it mate,it's all about more money,nothing to do with class of people,how anyone could defend snr is beyond me as the man is clearly nuts?

 

Quit exploiting those people for your own personal gain and sadistic pleasure btw.

 

I'm sure the Eubank's are about a year away from that kind of doe... in the meantime they got some good pub (negative or not)... casuals know about CEJ.

 

It's not about the money.

Hearn did the heavy lifting to get the fight that close to being signed. Then, they wanted to cut him out of the operations side entirely at the 11th hour, while still using his name. The Eubanks have no experience in promoting and staging a fight, and are under comtract to Hearn. If the event flopped or was poorly assembled, it would be Eddie's name on the line.

What Pops should do, if that's what he wants, is finish out the Hearn contract and promote (or co-promote) Jr himself. You can't expect that change in promotional structure to happen when you're under contract already with a system you agreed to. Alternatively, he could pony up the cash and buy the contract out.

Sr. is smart, but he's narcissistic and has addictive tendencies he doesn't even care to control. That's why he mismanaged his finances and now he's ruined this fight.

He's bit of an attention wh*re who constantly needs admiration to boost his ego. He's one of the biggest divas in boxing and he's not even in boxing.
