Breazeale was dropped in the WBC ratings several weeks ago. He's not fighting Wilder.

Whyte will be dealt with by the bomb squad if he travels over there. Some close sources tell me, Haymon wants his newly recruited boxer Joe Joyce to step in, and confront the bodysnatcher. Prove he's worthy enough to be in Deontay Wilder's higher circle. Joe better not let the bomb squad down. Or there could be consequences for the both of them, lol.

In February this year, Fury was still the RING champion. RING dropped him that month because he hadn't been active. Now he's active.

Fury will have three fights this year, one of them for the WBC title. Fighting three times will make him one of the more active heavyweights in the sport.

Tyson Fury will be in the WBC's top 3 by the time they step in the ring later this year. He may end up getting slotted at #1. (All the guys ahead of him - Whyte, Ortiz, Breazeale and Bellew - have been knocked out before. Fury is still undefeated.)

The latest WBC ratings have him at #5 entering this weekend, before the Pianeta fight.

Don't be surprised if Tyson Fury is the WBC's #1 contender by December.

I don't understand the connection? Unless you're saying Wilder shouldnt have to fight his number 1 challenger because Golovkin hasn't fought Charlo?

Also, they are very different, Golovkin holds multiple titles and has fought mandatory challengers.

Holding a single belt.. How many mandatory challengers has Wilder fought in 7 defences and nearly 4 years?

Breazeale is the mandatory not Whyte even if Breazeale is ranked 10...lol


Wilder is fighting Fury bc he knows it's an easier fight then Joshua and knows it gets him 2 guaranteed paydays unlike getting knocked out against Joshua in one fight.
