    I do wonder if people are overrating Porter a bit. His physical prowess is impressive (strength, speed, athleticism). But Brook does appear a bit more fluid and skilled. The big question with Brook is whether he's ever been tested by an elite fighter. I also think people underrate the pressure and spotlight that Brook has in England. He seems to be quite popular in the UK. Whereas Porter could walk the streets anywhere in the US and go unnoticed. Even the fights Porter has been in ....he's usually on the undercard. There is an added pressure to Brook fights, I believe. While that won't ensure him anything in a fight with Porter....I think it says something about his ability to handle pressure. It's different in the UK.

    People are over estimating Porter.

    People point to Brook struggle with Carson Jones, but over the course of two fights Brook proved he was a better fighter than Jones to a greater degree than Porter did over shot Julio Diaz.

    Also some people seem to think Porter is some kind of KO artist, but Malignaggi was the first guy he's knocked out in over 2 years and he's been in with a few bums.

    Serious question, would like to know how Brook fans see the fact that he is pro for 10 years and didnt beat anyone of note?? and add to that that he has the nerve to call out Pac(4 years ago :rofl) and Floyd now:)lol:)

    But who's Thurman beat of note and people say he would beat Mayweather and Pacquiao. There was a poll yesterday of Thurman v Marquez and Thurman was winning by a mile :patsch

    If Golden Boy, Max Kellerman and Brian Kenny was telling you that Brook was THE ****, you'd all be saying he beats everyone. I have watched boxing for 20 years and know how to separate hype jobs from the real thing. Brook= real thing, Thurman = hype job.

    Mock me if you want but I knew for a fact Calzaghe v Lacy was a mismatch, as I knew guys like Broner, Kirkland and Ortiz etc was nowhere near what the hype was making them out to be. Nor is Thurman or Porter.
