I think this story is kinda unlikely. Khan only just renewed his deal with Warren after he fought Gomez and I can't see Frank signing him up for just 4 extra fights. He'd want to have his claws in him for a lot longer than that.

Also didn't Khan & Warren sign up for some kind of 20 fight PPV deal with sky which started with the Prescott loss? If Warren only had him signed up for a 4 fight deal why would he negotiate a much longer contract with Sky?

He signed a 3-year deal with Warren just before the Prescott fight. This is hogwash.

Warren is slowly losing power over his fighter.

I think Khan will leave warren soon and hopefully it will be for Top Rank.

I do not like Bob Arum but he is less of a crook than Frank warren. IF amir can get away from warren before he is 25 then it will do wonders for his carrear it will enable him to get the fights he wants and not just fighing to line Warrens pocekts.

In a strange way the Prescott loss is the best thing that happened to Khan. Think about it Hatton, Calzaghe and Maccranelli all left warren when they were past their peak or when they lost. If these guys had lost earlier they may have got some outside perspective that Khan has from going to america and working with freddie roach , Pac and the otehr members of the wild card gym.

I swear I read once they left ITV and went to Sky Khan signed a new 3 year deal.

The 20 fight PPV deal with Sky is between warren promotions and Sky. Not Khan

I found a couple of articles on the original deal before the Prescott fight http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/7494128.stm and http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=3476990

It says Khan signed a long term deal with Warren and as it was only last year I doubt Warren would only get him to sign a 3fight deal. But then again wasn't one of Warren's sports network liqoudised or made bankrupt a few months ago. I heard that Warren has fighters signed on both his promotional companies.

If Khan was signed to the one that went Bankrupt wouldn't his contract become void? :huh

If Khan was signed up under Sports Network then the contract would be void as SN was liquidated (intentionally I may add as the Calzaghe judgement was against SN and not Warren himself or Warren Promotions).

However, FW is a shrewd crook and I doubt he would have liquidated SN without ensuring his prized cash cow was signed under Warren Promotions before doing so, he might be an ass, but I dont think he is a dumbass

Ddnt he do something like that with Setanta. 't Setanta had a deal with Sports Network and not Warren Promotions? He signed with Sky and pulled a fast one as he only had a few boxers signed to Sports Network. I think most of Calzaghe stable was signed to Sports Network (Pryce, Rees JC)
