'It is known, from sources within the Roach camp, that despite working on reshaping and remoulding the young British fighter’s style, specifically with regard to his defence and in varying the angles of his attack, concern remains over Khan’s propensity to rush in with wild flurries and leave himself open to being countered. His old habit of leaving his hand out after throwing a right hand has also resurfaced during sparring on odd occasions, which against a fighter of Kotelnik’s experience could prove fatal..'

Is this just a minor hiccup or something major within khans preparation for kotelnik. This coupled with that sparring footage which was released by Khans own promoter Frank warren is leading me to believe that khan is going to get stopped again.

It takes time to stop old habits like that. Khan has been throwing wild flurries and leaving him self open since his pro debut. Unfortunately, Kotelnik could expose those flaws tonight.

I have a warm feeling that tells me Khan is going to get knocked out again.

Do you think it'll be early or late? I'm going with a later Kotelnik stoppage, around rounds 8 or 9.

Kotelnik gets stronger as the fight goes on. I expect Kotelnik to improve as the fight goes on and Khan to fade. Just my opinion though.

Same here, if those flaws are still that visible as they were in Khans previous fights then kotelnik will stop him early not late.

That's a big problem. Kotelnik ALWAYS tries to counter with a left hook, and if Khan's leaving his chin open for it, he's going to taste canvas sandwich. I've always thought this was a bad stylistic match up for Khan. Him winning depends on him getting off without getting countered.

Yeah, he tends to become more active as the fight goes on.

Yes but i think Khan will see tht Kotelink has very gud guard and will be more concious in later rounds to get an easy UD.

First Ortiz was matched with Maidana, now Khan is matched with the guy who defeated El Chino. Both youngsters are very talented but moved a bit too fast, however I always said Khan is the more tested of the two - even if tested means he got knocked out. But thing is: Khan learned his lesson not to jump on his opponents and this is a very important thing here. Kotelnik is an excellent counter-puncher and Khan gotta be on 100%, but if he can stay calm and simply box using his speed advantage and defense he can win an UD.

Khan wins by UD. I have the feeling that he'll keep himself out of range. Also, Kotelnik doesn't have much pop.
